UNCW Team Camp

We recommend having 8-10 players on each Varsity or JV team attending the camp for optimum court time for each camper. The maximum camper number on one team should not be more than 12 campers.

The camp staff court coach will be running the drills, and the team coach can give her/his players instructions, correct their arm- and footwork, make substitutions, or the coach can just simply talk to the players such as encouraging them, etc. The coaching work during camp is optional. 

Resident Assistant Coach and Chaperone camp fee: $150.00, which includes a camp T-shirt, 7 meals, and 2 nights of housing.

Commuter Assistant Coach and Chaperone camp fee: $90.00, which includes a camp T-shirt and 4 meals (breakfast is not included in the commuter rate).

Please Note: the first meal at camp is dinner, so please make sure to have lunch before arriving to check in.

8:30pm                       COMMUTER PICK UP - Sign out and pick up inside Trask Arena

                                    Overnight campers return to Belk Hall

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

CAMP CHECK-IN:

  1. Liability and Medical Waiver

  2. Mask(s)

  3. Be sure to check our campus map!

COMMUTER CAMPERS​:

  1. Volleyball equipment (volleyball shoes or good sneakers, knee pads, multiple t-shirts, spandex/shorts etc.)

  2. Additional money for camp store (volleyball apparel & snacks) - recommended about $30

  3. Refillable water bottle (NO CUPS will be provided at water cooler).

  4. Please do not bring additional personal items (iPad, etc.)

  5. Younger players may want to bring long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt (forearms can get sore and bruised from passing)

  6. A positive attitude!​

CAMP DETAILS

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:  

 

Please note: The Team Camp Registration Form needs to be completed and signed by each Head Coach to register the team(s) for the camp. 

OPTION #1:     

Registering by mailing in a $600.00 camp deposit payment for each team attending on a first-come, first-served basis. The camp deposit is due upon receiving the invoice, which holds the team's spot for the camp, and it counts toward the full camp fee. All remaining camp balances are due 14 days prior to the first day of the camp. The team's spot will be held permanently once the deposit has been received. 

 

OPTION #2: 

Registering by mailing in the full camp fee payment for each camper on a first-come first-served basis. The full camp balances are due within 30 days of the initial registration to hold the spot for the team permanently.

 

OPTION #3:

Registering ONLINE on a first-come first-served basis with a full online payment option. The team's Head Coach needs to notify us about their intent to attend the camp, and the Team Camp Registration Form needs to be completed and signed in order to hold the team's spot for the camp. Please note: there is an online processing fee charged with each credit card transaction.
