WHERE ARE BEACH VOLLEYBALL CAMPS HELD?
Beach Camps are located at on the UNCW Campus Courts! In front of Pelican Hall, parking in the Visitor Lot by baseball.
WHAT DOES EACH CAMPER RECEIVE?
Beach campers receive a UNCW beach volleyball camp tank top. In addition, daily prizes are awarded throughout these camps.
IS A PHYSICAL EXAM REQUIRED TO ATTEND CAMP?
No, but you must download and complete the Medical Form and you will be required bring this form with you to camp. This form does NOT require a physician’s signature; rather, a parent/guardian must sign the form. Campers will not be allowed to participate without this form.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ATHLETE IS INJURED OR SICK DURING CAMP?
There is around the clock medical supervision, which includes athletic trainers on call at all sites during the duration of camp. In addition, we have use of our Sports Medicine facility on campus for injury treatment if needed. Parents will be notified of any injury or sickness.

DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
Currently, we are not offering an Early Bird Discount.

WHEN IS THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE?
All payments must be made in full, by credit card, online. Registrations will not be accepted without full payment.

DOES MY ATHLETE NEED ANY MONEY AT CAMP?
We suggest $30 for your daughter. The camp store will have volleyball apparel for sale such as t-shirts, spandex, key chains, sweatshirts etc.

WHAT IS THE COACH-TO-CAMPER RATIO?
At our full day camp, we have one coach for every 8 campers. The David Fischer Beach Volleyball Camp staff is comprised of head and assistant college coaches, along with some of the top high school and club volleyball coaches in the region, current professional volleyball players and NCAA college athletes.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR CAMP?
We prefer you register and pay online at www.seahawkvolleyballcamps.com
All major credit cards accepted. You will receive an email confirmation directing you to the forms page online. It is your responsibility to complete the medical form and bring it to camp.

WHAT SHOULD MY ATHLETE BRING TO CAMP?

FIRST DAY

Completed Liability and Medical Waiver (download from camp website).

Sunscreen, lip balm, water bottle.

Snacks for half day, and a lunch for full day camps

Additional money for camp store never hurt ($20 hats, $5 sunglasses)

Flip flops are fine -- we play barefoot - or bring sand socks

Towel for rinsing off

Hats/visors and sunglasses are strongly recommended!

Comfortable playing clothes for heat, rain, or beautiful weather; leggings if it's chilly, light long-sleeve for sun protection

We cannot assume responsibility for lost, misplaced, or stolen personal items during camp.
To help ensure the safety of your belongings, we recommend the following:

Label all personal items with your name.

Avoid bringing valuables, expensive items, or irreplaceable belongings to camp.

Keep your personal items stored in designated areas when not in use.

​ARE THERE ANY REFUNDS?
The summer camp cancellation policy states that there are no refunds for cancellations made within 7 days before the start of the camp. Cancellations made earlier than 7 days before the camp start date will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
