The Seahawk Summer Volleyball Camp staff is comprised of head and assistant college coaches, along with some of the top high school and club volleyball coaches in the region, current professional volleyball players and NCAA college athletes.

UNCW Head Coach, Indoor and Beach Volleyball, 2nd Season
Coach Hampton brings a wealth of volleyball expertise to UNCW. She has coached in numerous top conferences throughout the USA, and has competed internationally after being a two-sport athlete at Indiana-Purdue at Fort Wayne (IPFW).

UNCW will be Hampton’s third head coaching position following tenures at Niagara (2012) and South Carolina (2017-interim). She has served as an assistant coach on the staff at Coastal Carolina the last two seasons. Prior to joining the Coastal Carolina program, Hampton served as an assistant at South Carolina from 2014-17, finishing the 2017 season as interim head coach. In Hampton’s four seasons in Columbia,

Hampton served as an assistant coach at five schools. She served on the staffs at Indiana (2005-06), former CAA rival George Mason (2007-10), Pittsburgh (2011) and Butler (2013). In 2009, she helped George Mason post a 23-9 record, capture the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament championship secure and NCAA berth.

DAVID FISCHER
David Fischer enters his sixth season with the Seahawk Volleyball program after being elevated to Associate Head Coach in 2017. He has led the beach volleyball training since the program's founding in 2016, and he helped UNCW Indoor Volleyball capture it's first CAA Championship.
​
The UNCW Beach Volleyball Team competes in the CCSA along with several of the top teams in the country, including Florida State and LSU. The pairing of Nicole Lott and Maddy Kline was selected to compete at the Bridgestone USA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championships in Hermosa Beach, Calif. Lott and Kline went 2-2 during the tournament, defeating Long Beach State to finish top 16 in the USA.
​
As a beach volleyball player, Fischer competed on the AVP for 13 years, represented USA in the Pan Am Games, and has competed internationally in Eastern and Western Europe, South America, and New Zealand. Fischer competed indoors for Stanford University and twice finished ranked #2 in the country.
