DAVID FISCHER
David Fischer enters his 11th season with the Seahawk Beach Volleyball program and serves as Head Coach.
​
UNCW is coming off a 2nd place finish in the Sun Belt in 2025, and has held Pair of the Year Honors the past 3 seasons. In 2024, UNCW finished 3rd in the strong Sun Belt.
​
In 2022, UNCW finished tied for 3rd in the ASUN, and produced the conference Scholar-Athlete of the year in Ellie Bucci, as well as Freshman of the year Gabby LaPata. For 7 years, UNCW competed in the CCSA against the strongest universities east of California.

​As a beach volleyball player, Fischer competed on the AVP for 13 years, represented USA in the Pan Am Games, and has competed internationally in Europe, South America, Central America, and New Zealand. Fischer competed indoors for Stanford University, and has over 20 years of both indoor and beach volleyball coaching experience.

KRISTY MUNDY
Coach Kristy competed for the Seahawks as a D1 beach volleyball player.
In the 2025 season, Kristy was the regular coach in the box for Sun Belt Pair of the Year Gracie Sistrunk and Lyvia Trimp, who finished 30-1 on the season at the 2s.

She serves as Director and Lead Coach for the East Coast Beach Volleyball Club in Wilmington, and competes regularly in Women's Open tournaments.
